In a condolence message to his US counterpart, George W. Bush, President Assad, on behalf of the Syrians and of his own offered condolences to President Bush and to the American people and to the victims families.

President Assad urged for international cooperation as to uproot all form of terrorism and as to guarantee man's right to live in security and peace every where in the world.

The Guardians of the Cedars - National Lebanese Movement would like to remind the president of Syria of the following fact: Syria is the heart of terrorism in the world.

Syria who with the aid of other radical arab nations, has funded the killings of moderate arab leaders and have gladly aided the world terrorists by providing funds, training camps and equipment within the boundaries of their country. Also Syria being the main power broker in Lebanon, it allowed terrorist organizations to build training camps and launch raids into Israel from Lebanon.

The US and the free world has an obligation to look at Syria's involvement in international terrorism knowing that Syria has been on the US State Department's list of terrorist countries for years.

The list below outlines just a few of the organizations that operate in Syria or are supported, funded and trained by the Syrian military machine to commit terrorism against Israel, Lebanon and the world.
