A committee from the SLA, presided over by Abu-Arz, paid a condolence visit to the United States Embassy in Tel-Aviv.

The Lebanese delegation met with the Political Attache officer and expressed its feelings of sorrow for the tragic human suffering and loss in America. The committee demonstrated its solidarity with all lovers of freedom who see Washington as the beacon of liberty in the world. As such, the Lebanese look forward to policy initiatives that will target the terrorists and their supporters wherever they are.

"There is opportunity in crisis, and we hope that this terrorist act against America will lead to a realignment of forces that could promote the liberation of Lebanon".

Earlier, Abu Arz, sent a letter to President George W. Bush on behalf  of the Lebanese people presently in Israel, expressing condolences on the disaster that struck the United States of America by  Islamic terrorism.
